Explore Sarasota

We hope you'll stay for the weekend to explore Sarasota! Here are a few things we recommend.

Kayak & Paddle Board from the Hyatt

We encourage guests to stay at the Hyatt (see accommodations page) to enjoy the hotel perks including kayaking, paddle boarding, and other water sports! They also have the nicest pool in downtown Sarasota. :)

Mote Aquarium

Come discover our wondrous oceans and meet the scientists working to save them at Mote Aquarium, which is located at 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway., Sarasota, FL 34236, just a few minutes from downtown Sarasota.

St. Armands Circle

Stroll through St. Armands Circle for an exceptional array of shops, restaurants, salons, spas, and ice cream!

Lido Beach

If you're a fish at heart and need more time with the ocean, dip your toes in the powdery white sands and brilliant turquoise waters at Lido Beach.

The Ringling Museum and Ca' d'Zan

Established in 1948, the Ringling Museum of the American Circus was the first to document the rich history of this phenomenally popular entertainment.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

We recommend spending more at the gardens surrounding our wedding venue at Selby Gardens! The sanctuaries are focused on connecting people with air plants of the world, native nature, and regional history.

Legacy Trail

The Legacy Trail forms a continuous 20 mile non-motorized path from Palmer Ranch in southern Sarasota to Shamrock Park and Caspersen Beach Park in Venice.
